Additional Parish Council Meeting
There will be an additional Parish Council meeting on Wednesday 14 December at 6pm in the hall at Southwold School to discuss CDC’s consultation on the Partial Review of the Local Plan to incorporate Oxford’s unmet housing needs.

Emptying the dog bins
It has come to the attention of the Parish Council that the dog bins around the village have not been emptied for a while.
The Parish Council and the MoD each has responsibility for four bins and Cherwell District Council is paid to empty them twice a week in the summer and once a week in the winter.
If the bins have not been emptied, please let the Clerk know and she will contact the Street Cleansing Team at CDC.
The Giant Voice (Monday 17 October)
An air raid siren was heard over the Giant Voice this morning (Monday). The Parish Council has been in touch with the Liaison Team at Croughton and this was supposed to be a silent test but someone didn’t quite push the right buttons and they apologise for the worry this might have caused.
Going forward, there is supposed to be a weekly test at 12:00 midday on a Monday. The Giant Voice test will sound with a wavering tone, proceeded and followed by “This is only a test”.
Have you re-registered?
North Bicester Surgery in Bure Park will be closing its doors at the end of September.
Only half of the patients registered with the surgery have registered with other surgeries in Bicester. If you were a patient at the surgery and haven’t yet registered with a new GP, don’t leave it until you’re ill and need a doctor – do it today!
