Caversfield Parish Council meets once every 2 months on the third Wednesday at 7.30pm generally in the Chinnery Room of Fringford Village Hall, OX27 8DY.
Members of the public are always welcome. The agenda for the meeting is displayed on notice boards in Caversfield the week before each meeting and online in the Agenda and Minutes section.
The dates agreed for meetings in 2026 are:
- 21 January
- 18 March
- 13 May – Annual Parish Meeting 7.30pm followed by the Annual Meeting of the Parish Council (please note, not the third Wednesday)
- 16 July
- 16 September
- 18 November
and in 2027
- 20 January
- 17 March
Planning meetings are convened as required.
Caversfield Parish Council was first convened after the election on 17 June 1976 so in Parish Council terms is a relative new-comer to the area as the original Parish Councils were formed after the Local Government Act 1894. Many of the Minutes files from 1976 onwards are available at the County Archives in Oxford.
