There has been an issue with a water leak in the Rowans area of Caversfield today. This resulted in the main for the whole of the area having to be turned off to stop the area flooding. There has been a repair, but it is only temporary.
Unfortunately, it is going to take longer to fix than first imagined.
The Parish Council is working with the residents and the County Emergency Planning team to reduce the impact.
The Emergency Planning Team need to know of any vulnerable people who might need help. This includes families with babies, anyone with medical issues and the elderly.
Please check with your neighbours to see if they need help and please let me know via clerk@caversfield-pc.gov.uk or 01869 247171. I will then compile a list and let the Emergency Planning Team know.
