The next Parish Council meeting will take place in the Community Room of Gagle Brook School on Elmsbrook on Wednesday 16 March at the earlier time of 7.00pm.
The Agenda for the meeting together with the Minutes of the January meeting are available with the meeting papers on the Parish website. If you would like hard copies of any of the documents please do let me know before the meeting so that I can ensure I have enough copies.
Two separate developers have asked to make presentations to the Parish Council:
– representatives from Mewslade who are responsible for the vacant plots north of Rau Court / Thompson Drive and off Springfield Road; and
– representatives from the Vistry Group about their proposals for the land at Dymocks Farm to north of the village.
No planning applications have been received yet from either of these developers, but it is understood that Cherwell District Council has received submissions for these areas under their latest call for sites for the review of the Local Plan.
We were pleased to co-opt Carol MacKay as a Councillor at the January meeting. This now leaves one vacant seat on the Council. If you think you can make a difference, have a look at the Becoming a Councillor section of the Parish Council website and come along to the meeting to see what we do.
